Lancaster style Kentucky Rifle Stock. One of the most popular stock designs fo the 1700's and today. The wide butt, straight comb and practical drop makes this a very functional design for today's shooters, while maintaining the clean lines of an original American classic. Originals often feature a daisy-head patch box, engraved inlays and ornate, raised carving. The Early style Lancaster stock (pre-1780) is a heavier thicker stock than the Late Lancaster style (post 1780), see stock dimensions below. !
