Few civilian muzzle loading rifles have enjoyed the popularity of the famous Hawken rifle, a standard with the western trappers of the 1820-1840 era. The Hawken is highly prized by shooters today because of it's colorful background and heavy duty power and dependability. This stock blank is an excellent place to start to build an authentic Hawken replica. Overall length is 32-1/2", maximum pull 15-1/2", drop 3-1/4", barrel channel is 15" long, 7/16" ramrod groove. Lock mortice is 7" wide x 1-1/2" high; butt is 4-1/2" x 1-1/2".
