Allentown or "Kentucky" rifle stock in grade 3 maple, 13/16" barrel channel. Right hand.
Based on an original rifle made by Andrew Vernor of Bucks Co., Pennsylvania (probably Revolutionary War era). The butt is rather flat, the stock somewhat thick with a wrist wider than high. The comb is straight and the underside of the butt stock is slightly curved. Overall length 59", maximum pull 15"; drop 3-3/4", barrel channel is 42" long, 3/8" ramrod groove. Lock mortice is 6-1/2" wide by 1-1/4" high. RIght hand only.
