Brass trigger guard, butt plate and thimbles are as cast requiring finishing and lugs from mold gates to be removed.

Stock is inlet for barrel and ramrod groove only. Stock stain, finish and barrel finish are not included.

We offer a number of gunsmithing services from cutting dovetails to browning your parts. Call for more info.  

Kit stock is shaped and inletted to near finished form, requiring minor final shaping, sanding and finish.  Lock is assembled and finished, all machine work is done on barrel, but surface is still in the white.  Overall length is 15". (Photo is of factory finished model)

Requires only limited inletting and stock shaping. Barrel is in the white and brass parts need polishing. A pistol-size Hawken lock is equipped with coil springs and matched  to a spring loaded single trigger. Belt hook for ease of carrying. .50 caliber takes a .490 patched round ball, .54 caliber takes a .530 patched round ball, a 6.75 mm metric nipple and #11 percussion caps. The octagonal barrel is rifled 1 turn in 66" for patched round ball. The long sighting plane between the blade front sight and fixed notch rear sight adds precision shooting accuracy. The color case-hardened lock features a v-type mainspring for fast lock time. Single trigger. The 33-1/2" barrel is set in a full-length, 2 piece stock of select hardwood and is accented by solid brass furniture. Overall length is 49". The 15/16" o.d. barrel is 32" long, trigger pull 14", overall length 49". One of the best reproductions we have seen in the moderate price range. Rifled 1 turn in 60". .50 caliber takes a .490 patched round ball for hunting and .495 for target, .54 caliber takes a .530 patched roung ball for hunting and .535 for target shooting, a 6.75mm nipple and #11 percussion cap. Select hardwood stock requires only limited inletting, shaping and finishing. 10" polished round barrel is in the white with dovetails cut for fixed sights and fixed breech attached. Flintlock is polished and in the white. Single brass trigger. .50 caliber takes a .490 patched round ball and  5/8" flint.
